Her Name Was Sarah

Yesterday I watched the movie Her Name Was Sarah, (English title: Sarah's Key) As I already said, I've read the book and this actually was the first movie that was so in common with the book. Very often you see that the movie is very different from the book, but this was exactly the same. It met all my expectations. Especially the acting of the 10-year old Mélusine Mayance who played Sarah Starzinski really surprised me. I also really liked the scenery, and I'm still wondering where they filmed the scenes in the stadium and how they got all those people together. It was so realistic, you really commiserated with the characters. All in all, I think it's important that they've made this movie, it's important that we still think about the war nowadays, how awful it was and how good our lives are today.
